Paul Nini’s recent essay “Exclusive + Inclusive: the Twofold Nature of Graphic Design,” appears both online and in the forthcoming book Never Sleep, by Andre Andreev and G. Dan Covert of Dress Code NY. This title is published by de.MO, and should be available in September 2008.

Social Studies AIGA Design Education Conference

Paul Nini will be presenting as a panelist at the Social Studies design education conference, Friday, October 17 to Sunday, October 19, 2008, sponsored by AIGA, and hosted by the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore. The panel will address courses in university design programs dealing with issues of social responsibility and environmental sustainability.

AGI Chicago Event

Paul Nini will be attending the AGI Chicago event on September 23, 2008. From their web-site: “Over 1000 of the world’s top designers, students, educators and graphic arts professionals will converge in Chicago for the 2008 AGI Congress and AGI Student Conference.
